The detected events collected by Paranoid XP Agent are analyzed using a unique Behavior Patterns Map (BPM), developed by Nyotron's research team, and then tagged with the appropriate rating. Paranoid XP Agent operates in stealth mode, as a service, thus the end user is not aware of it and can not interfere with its functionality.

All information gathered by Paranoid XP Agent is transferred to the Paranoid Server in a secured proprietary protocol, and is displayed in the PME, where the IT security personnel can review and estimate the risk and act accordingly, e.g. remove the malicious file, block the incoming port, etc.

Paranoid XP Agent is designed for easy deployed over large enterprise network, using standard software deployment mechanism. Shortly after its install, Paranoid XP Agent makes its first Handshake with Paranoid Server and start securing the end point workstation from threats.
